I could list dozens, but for the sake of
making a point I’ll begin by asking a
few questions.

Are you better at handicapping the
NFL than colleges?

Do you bet the early College games on
Saturday before you’ve handicapped
the entire schedule?

Do you bet the early NFL games on
Sunday before you’ve handicapped the entire schedule?

Do you have a higher percentage of
success with favorites or underdogs?
Do you have a higher percentage of
success when you make larger or
smaller wagers?

DO YOU EVEN “CATAGORIZE” AND
KEEP A RECORD OF YOUR WAGERS?

With every pun intended, I’d be willing  “To Bet” that the majority of readers are right now generally responding along the lines of…”I really hadn’t thought of that” and “Uh Oh!”

Obviously the start to this first of a
number of HOW TO BET SUGGESTIONS
is rhetorical. But the idea is to get you
thinking about the prospects of increasing your winning margin for the 2010 Football Season.

Look at it this way, if you can discover
what your strengths are, simply by
Keeping A Record of every Wager You
Make, even without changing your
Handicapping Methodology, you
should expect to improve by 2-3% at a
minimum. After all, once you learn that a particular type of bet at a particular  amount of money (this is all a part of  every bettor’s makeup) is a loser,  wouldn’t you stop making it?
